On Tuesday in Madison (and through out most of the state of Wisconsin), the day time temperatures hovered at 90 degrees. The next day, the high was in the low seventies. Yesterday, along with an all day rain, the high was around 60 degrees.
Yup. Fall arrived over night. I pulled those covers up to my chin the last two nights. And since the electricity was included in the camping rate, I kept the inside temperature in the low to mid 60s while outside temps were in the low 50s.
However, those fall like temperatures have not stopped me from wearing Hawaiian shirts and shorts. Long pants will have to wait at least until September 21st -- the last day of summer. Hawaiian shirts are year round attire.
