I'm surprised the RV resorts, that you stay at, condescend to permit customized, non-RVIA-approved rigs. What's next? Will they allow old pickup trucks with homemade caps made of plywood? (grin)
Seriously, the one legacy I have of RVing in Yuma in the winter is an appreciation of solar screen. I can't imagine living without it on the windows. I even put it on the vent covers.
Boonie,
Wished I had done the solar screen years ago. My next customized trailer (isn't going to be one) will have a windowless door.
One of the first changes I made in my new trailer was to replace that no-see-through glass with clear lexan. I want to see out the door. Then I added a raisable flap that allows privacy when I want it and blocks the sun when that is desirable. Randy
Randy,
The clear glass option was considered before selecting the solar screen. |
